Barbour ABI Releases Q2 Construction Report

CHESTER, England, August 2, 2011 -

Barbour ABI is releasing the next instalment of Construction Review today - it’s our quarterly industry analysis, which highlights key building projects, the best performing sectors and everything you need to know about construction activity between April to June.  

Construction Review is a popular read amongst construction industry professionals. Starting with leading stories from two respected sources; Brian Green who blogs for Building magazine and Dr Noble Francis, Economics Director of the Construction Products Association.

The total value of contracts awarded was up for the third successive quarter, up 31% on the previous quarter and 25% on the same quarter last year. Overall capital expenditure will fall over the next couple of years, although the money invested in Academies will hopefully continue to trickle through for the rest of 2011.
