LONDON, September 29, 2010 - The actress, presenter and Britain's Got Talent judge, Amanda Holden, has
put her name to The Merlin's Wish Foundation
(www.wishfoundation.org.uk) , a newly established UK registered
charity, which raises cash for children in conjunction with online retailers.

The Foundation's site offers visitors the chance to win cars
(www.wishfoundation.org.uk/intro.php), holidays, electronic items and
many more, worth up to GBP20,000 each. Visitors have the chance to claim
these fantastic prizes by placing bids costing from as little as 53 pence
each, in online reverse auctions where the lowest unique bid wins. Visitors
who place the lowest unique bid win the right to buy the chosen product for
just 1p. Successfully completed auctions
(www.wishfoundation.org.uk/Auctions) mean Wishes granted for
terminally and seriously ill children and fantastic, luxury items for
auction winners such as a Mini Cooper
(www.wishfoundation.org.uk/MINICooper/Auction/123456abcd05), Disney
holiday (
www.wishfoundation.org.uk/HolidayatDisneyFlorida/Auction/123456abcd04)
, MacBook Pro laptop (
www.wishfoundation.org.uk/MacBookPro13inch/Auction/123456abcd06), and
several other super products.

The Foundation recently funded a dream for 16 year old Jack (pictured
opposite) who has a very severe and complicated form of epilepsy called
Lennox-Gastaut syndrome. His condition involves different types of seizures,
frequent drop attacks and toxic seizures from sleep and a degree of learning
and behaviour difficulties in association with this. Jack's epilepsy has been
extremely difficult to control and he continues to have seizures, regardless
of changes to his anticonvulsant medication. There is little chance of
respite from these seizures in the future.

A big Toy Story fan, Jack's wish was to meet Buzz Lightyear. His dream
came true through a family holiday to Florida. Meeting Buzz was the absolute
highlight, but he also got to visit many of the magical theme parks and
attractions in this trip of a lifetime.

Amanda said: "A healthy, happy child is an absolute blessing to any
parent. Being the parent of a child suffering from any serious or
life-limiting illness is simply unimaginable, I am delighted to be supporting
Merlin's Wish Foundation and their vital work.

"Merlin's Wish Foundation is raising funds in order to grant a magical
wish for as many children suffering from terminal and serious illnesses as
possible."

Individual children's wishes are funded through donations made by the
Foundation to specialist charities such as Dreams Come True, who were first
established in the UK over 25 years ago and always have an open list of
around 150 children, each waiting for their magical wish to be granted.
