Survey data reveals 20 percent of consumers are most likely to shop from their mobile phone from home

LONDON, December 17, 2010 - Panic Saturday, the last Saturday before Christmas, is one of the busiest
shopping days of the year in the UK. PriceGrabber.co.uk(R), a part of
Experian, released the results of its Panic Saturday mobile shopping survey
(1,004 online respondents; conducted between 8 October and 18 November 2010).
Survey data reveals that consumers will not only be shopping on the high
street this Panic Saturday, but they also will be shopping from their mobile
phones.

      vouchers/discounts while shopping in stores on Panic Saturday
    - 8 percent of consumers plan to check store inventory from their

    - 20 percent of consumers said they are most likely to shop
      from a mobile phone at home this Christmas season
    - 9 percent of consumers said they are most likely to shop from a
      mobile phone anywhere they can this Christmas season
    - 8 percent of consumers said they are most likely to shop from a
      mobile phone at work this Christmas season

    Most popular purchases from mobile phones this Christmas

    - 11 percent of consumers plan to purchase books from their
      mobile phone this Christmas
    - 10 percent of consumers plan to purchase digital content from
      their mobile phone this Christmas
    - 9 percent of consumers plan to purchase clothing from their
      mobile phone this Christmas
    - 8 percent of consumers plan to purchase non-computer-related
      consumer electronics from their mobile phone this Christmas
    - 7 percent of consumers plan to purchase computers, laptops or
      related equipment from their mobile phone this Christmas
