Redwood Shores, Calif. – July 19, 2011

News Facts

Oracle announced the availability of Oracle Tax Analytics (www.oracle.com/us/industries/public-sector/oracle-tax-analytics-ds-414292.pdf) , an innovative business intelligence solution that helps tax authorities better understand their operations and make more informed decisions that can lead to better taxpayer service, improved operational efficiency and increased collections and compliance.
Oracle and Wipro Technologies, the Global Information Technology, Consulting and Outsourcing business of Wipro Limited (NYSE: WIT), co-developed Oracle Tax Analytics to better meet the needs of tax and revenue authorities.

Availability and Functionality Details

Now generally available, Oracle Tax Analytics consists of three separately licensable products that provide a modular approach to implementing tax business intelligence and meeting tax and revenue authorities' unique information needs. These include:
Oracle Tax Accounting Analytics – Helps tax agencies view and monitor the performance of key performance indicators (KPIs) (i.e., total amount of tax or write-offs collected). The solution also enables users to analyze tax, penalty and interest assessments, as well as outstanding debt and credit allocations for all assessments.
Oracle Tax Forms Analytics – Provides forms processing managers with operational metrics and reports such as form volumes, seasonal trends, exception reasons and time in error (measures speed to work through form errors) that help identify processing bottlenecks, improve productivity and enhance services to taxpayers.
Oracle Tax Payments Analytics – Provides payment-processing managers with operational metrics and reports on payments distributed, currently suspended, corrected and cancelled, which helps increase accuracy and speed of payment processing.
Oracle Tax Analytics provides packaged integration to Oracle Enterprise Taxation and Policy Management 2.2 (www.oracle.com/us/industries/public-sector/046934.html) by leveraging Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition, Oracle Data Integrator (www.oracle.com/technetwork/middleware/data-integrator/overview/index.html) and Oracle Database (www.oracle.com/us/products/database/index.html) features. This pre-integrated feature helps reduce total cost of ownership and speeds implementation time.
