Portaltech and L.K.Bennett win at IMRG eCommerce Awards for Excellence

LONDON, October 20, 2010 - Portaltech are thrilled to announce that the L.K.Bennett website won an
award for 'Re-design/re-launch of the year' at the IMRG eCommerce awards for
excellence. Against stiff competition, L.K.Bennett was awarded eventual joint
winners with M&S, from a judging panel who said they could not split the
winners. Kate Smyth, Director of eCommerce for L.K.Bennett and Rachel
Wilkinson, Head of Brand & Retail at Portaltech collected the award at the
glittering ceremony.

Portaltech won the pitch to re-platform, integrate and implement
L.K.Bennett's website in October '09. Due to ambitious timelines, this
project was implemented on QuickLive, Portaltech's rapid multi channel
platform, built on hybris. Portaltech worked closely with multiple 3rd party
providers including 10CMS for interactive merchandising & Pod1 for design, to
integrate and execute the website in a challenging time frame of only 12
weeks. The new website re launched at the end of January 2010 and has since
gone on to exceed all expectations: Net sales increased by 103% YOY in the
first 5 weeks, conversion increased by 100% and the customer usability and
experience has substantially improved.
