ABU DHABI, UAE - Fans of custom bikes will be revelling at the opportunity to view the Abu Dhabi Police’s unique Falcon Bike, a one of a kind motorcycle, exclusively designed and custom built, when it appears at this year’s Barbican Turbo. Organised by United Business Media, Barbican Turbo is the Middle East’s hottest custom, tuning, car, bike and motorsports festival at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre from the 8th - 10th of October.

Originally unveiled in May to thousands of fans, this unique chopper style motorcycle was handcrafted especially for the Abu Dhabi Police by Paul Teutul Sr., of Discovery Channel TV fame.

The Falcon Bike is undoubtedly one of Abu Dhabi Police force’s finest mechanical achievements yet. In touch with the community, the Abu Dhabi Police are highly aware of the importance of bringing communities together, and The Falcon Bike will certainly provide lots of interaction.

Lt Majid al Marzouqi of the Abu Dhabi Police said he hoped The Falcon Bike would help police bond with the public and by riding the bike through the streets of Abu Dhabi, it will be an opportunity to engage with the people direct.

Not only will visitors be able to get up close and personal with the chopper at the venue but they will also have a chance to witness its performance as it glides through the streets of Abu Dhabi in an organised city tour, of course under full police escort. Event goers and bike clubs alike will be able to join in with the Abu Dhabi Police as they lead the procession through the city on Friday 9th at 3pm.

Lex Akehurst, a motorsport consultant for Barbican Turbo Show said, “We cannot thank the Abu Dhabi Police enough for their enthusiasm and support for the Barbican Turbo Show. It’s incredibly important that we all work together to demonstrate the importance of community spirit and we look forward to communicating good road safety awareness”.

Visitors will also be able to see drifting with the European Drift Championships, the Top 100 show car competition with prizes from Swiss International Airlines, Swiss Tourism and Zermatt, the 2nd UAE National Sound Off, the 1st UAE National Dyno Shoot-Out engine challenge with Mainline, the Graffiti competition with Marc Ecko watches, music, DJ’s, dancers, graffiti artists Deco Spray, cocktail flarers Crazy Blend and headline acts Swerte and Young Vaughn; and Adrenaline Sports Live presented by Rani will also feature lots of different sports to try and amazing prizes.
