CAPE TOWN, South Africa, November 12 - Acision, the world's leading messaging company, today announces that MTN
Nigeria, the largest mobile operator in Nigeria with nearly 50 per cent
market share and serving over 27 million subscribers as of June 30 2009, has
successfully been using the Acision SMSC to significantly boost SMS traffic
in the region. MTN Nigeria has been working with Acision for the past eight
years and recently upgraded to Acision's next generation messaging
infrastructure to deliver rock solid messaging service quality as well as
extend the reach of its direct messaging capability.

The Acision messaging infrastructure empowers MTN to provide high quality
text messaging services to its customers, competently handle high volume
traffic during peak times and have greater control over third party content.
Acision provisions its messaging solutions with its African based partner,
TechFuture Limited, which supports Acision's presence across this continent.
In addition, MTN has worked with Acision and Techfuture, to facilitate MTN's
corporate social responsibility and local business initiative which enables
the transfer of technical skills and knowledge to Nigerian companies for the
country's future economic growth.

"Messaging is the main form of mobile communication in Nigeria and the
average use of SMS per subscriber is quadrupling year on year, so it is
essential that we have a world-class infrastructure to meet our customers SMS
demands," says Akinwale Goodluck, Corporate Services Executive at MTN
Nigeria. "We selected Acision's messaging solutions because of its renowned
reputation in this space and the power and flexibility of its platform to
deliver innovative messaging services as our market expands. With Acision
working with Techfuture we also have guaranteed assurance that we will have
local technical support at all times. The partnership also supports our
corporate social responsibility initiative of building out the range of
technical skills for future African generations, something that is very close
to our hearts."

"We have developed a strong working relationship with Acision which has
enabled the prompt delivery of powerful messaging solutions to operators
across the region, including MTN. We now look forward to our continued work
together to support the burgeoning African mobile industry as the market
starts to shift from messaging towards other data services such as mobile
broadband," explains Tolu Dada of Techfuture Limited.

Sherif Hamoudah, Acision senior vice president and general manager for
Middle East, Africa and Pakistan, continues, "According to Blycroft
Publishing's latest 2009 marketing research report "Africa and Middle East
Mobile Network Operators Directory," there has been 25 per cent growth across
the African mobile market with the activation of 74 million new subscribers.
With African mobile communications set to boom, Acision has partnered with
companies like Techfuture to heighten our presence in the region and provide
