Oracle Fusion Applications will take center stage at Oracle OpenWorld 2011, featuring in-depth product sessions, partner delivery updates and customer success stories across a spectrum of industries.
Early adopters of newly released Oracle Fusion applications and current customers have achieved significant progress and inroads, and they will openly share insights into their Oracle Fusion Application deployment experiences.
Open panel discussions with customers will include Alcoa, Green Mountain Coffee Roasters, Inc., Pacific Northwest National Laboratory and Principal Financial Group.
Alcoa will discuss how they will deploy Oracle Fusion HCM alongside existing Oracle E-Business Suite applications. Alcoa has been at the leading edge of technology and innovation since inventing the modern-day aluminum industry more than 120 years ago. By employing a coexistence strategy, Alcoa will introduce new functionality through Oracle Fusion HCM to support continued growth of its 59,000-employee workforce, while maintaining its current Oracle E-Business Suite HCM environment.
Green Mountain Coffee Roasters, Inc. will highlight how their deployment of the new Oracle Fusion CRM Public Cloud Service is intended to enable them to make their indirect sales channel more effective through better partner relationship management support, as well as improve sales effectiveness through the deployment of a single integrated solution for sales and marketing process support and the creation of a single source of truth for customer information.
Pacific Northwest National Laboratory will discuss how Oracle Fusion Applications are supporting the transformation to a single Integrated Management System initiative. The lab will discuss how it is planning to improve project execution and reporting through the use of Oracle Fusion Project Portfolio Management. Additionally, PNNL is deploying Oracle Fusion Governance Risk and Compliance to holistically address risk across the lab; this effort will initially focus on critical enterprise and project risks that must be identified and mitigated to assure successful implementation of the lab’s strategic vision.
Principal Financial Group will describe how their deployment of Oracle Fusion Talent Management has improved their employee performance and compensation processes for their managers enabling a formal review process that employees are eager to use. Additionally PFG has deployed Fusion Procurement because supplier relationships have become more strategic as sourcing and spend performance and analysis information has helped establish supplier goals and expectations that can be easily monitored and managed.
