BOSTON - BBC Middle East Editor Jeremy Bowen has violated the broadcaster's ethical guidelines calling for impartiality and accuracy. The BBC Trust finding (www.bbc.co.uk/bbctrust/assets/files/pdf/appeals/esc_bulletins/2009/mar.pdf) (Summary of Findings on p. 4), published on April 15, amplifies concerns that BBC's coverage of the Arab-Israeli conflict is biased against Israel.
TORONTO - Noront Resources Ltd. ("Noront" or the "Company") (TSX Venture: NOT) is pleased to announce the formal signing and ratification by Marten Falls First Nation Band Council of a Historical Compensation Agreement with Marten Falls First Nation ("MFFN"). In the meantime, we are looking forward to the next step which includes finalizing an Exploration Agreement and to continuing our relationship with Marten Falls community, as well as other First Nation Communities in other areas that Noront is exploring in the Ring of Fire."
