NEW YORK, July 21, 2011 -

Richard Attias, Founder and Chairman of the New York Forum, has
announced that next year’s conference will run on June 11-12, 2012
in New York City.

Attias explained: “This year’s conference addressed the issue of
jobs, which I believe is the single biggest challenge facing
corporations and governments today. I dearly hope that some of the
ideas and solutions that came out of this year will be implemented
before next year’s Forum, so we can learn from their success.”

The findings from this year’s conference were presented to the
current G20 presidency.

During this year’s conference, the White House convened a
meeting of the President’s Council on Jobs and Competitiveness,
with Valerie Jarrett, a Senior Advisor to President Obama,
joining Steve Case, founder of AOL; Brian Roberts,
Chairman and CEO, Comcast; Laura Tyson, SK and Angela Chan
Chair in Global Management, Haas School of Business, University of
California Berkeley
; and Robert Wolf, Chairman, UBS
Americas, in discussion.

The New York Forum 2012 will look at the most pressing issues
facing the economy and will give a voice to present and future
leaders from emerging market countries, as well as a group of young
entrepreneurs selected from key markets around the world.

The New York Forum strives to unite pioneering individuals from
diverse fields and backgrounds for two days annually in New York to
work together to craft solutions to the greatest challenges in the
global economy.
