Elsevier Launches the Journal of Computational Science

New Journal will Publish Advanced, Interdisciplinary Research on Simulation-Based Science Across all Scientific Disciplines

AMSTERDAM, May 19, 2010 - Elsevier, the world-leading publisher of scientific, technical and
medical information products and service, announced today the launch of the
Journal of Computational Science (www.elsevier.com/locate/jocs). The
journal aims to be an international platform to exchange important novel
research results in simulation-based science across all scientific
disciplines.

The Journal of Computational Science publishes advanced, innovative
interdisciplinary research where complex multi-scale, multi-domain problems
in science and engineering are solved, integrating sophisticated numerical
methods, computation, data, networks, and novel devices. The journal welcomes
original, unpublished high quality contributions in the field of
computational science at large, addressing one or more of the aforementioned
elements.

The editorial board is led by Editor in Chief, Professor Peter M.A. Sloot
of the University of Amsterdam, NL. P.V. Coveney, University College London,

and J. Dongarra, University of Tennessee, USA serve as associate editors.
