ANTWERP, Belgium, June 8, 2010 - Flanders Business School (FBS) has started building a new campus in
Antwerp. The project consists of renovating a listed building in the
historic city center. The architects bureau 'Buro II' is responsible for
the works.

The listed facade of the building on the corner of the Sint-Katelijnevest
will be renovated, while the beautiful ballroom in the middle of the
property is due for a double intervention: the authentic, listed elements
will be restored, whilst in the middle of the ballroom, a free-standing
egg-shaped construction is being built.

The 'egg' will house a new auditorium and will be equipped with all the
latest technology. It will become a suitable home for students 'brooding'
on new ventures, as they typically do while following the Executive
Education programs.

"With this project we confirm our choice of Antwerp as the ideal location
for our school," says the Dean, Professor Dr. Bruno Tindemans. "The fact
that the start of the works coincides with the anniversary of our school,
gives this project an extra dimension: it fully embodies the trust that
students and employers have placed in our education programs for the past
30 years."

FBS has invested 3 million euro in the project. The works are due for
completion in 2011.

The New Campus

The building dates from 1861 and is situated in the historic city center
of Antwerp, a stone's throw away from the famous Carolus Borromeus Church.

The planned works consist of the renovation of the facade of the building
and the interior, and the creation of office and conference spaces on the
ground and first floor. The former ballroom is also being renovated and new
sanitation will be put in place. The eye-catching centerpiece of the project
is the new auditorium, a free-standing egg-shaped construction, equipped with
all the latest technological facilities.

Executive Education Programs

The new campus will be the base of the students on the Executive
Education (EE) courses at FBS. The EE-programs are focused on guiding and
stimulating the - often latent - presence of an entrepreneurial spirit in
businesses and their employees. In 2009 talented teams from, amongst others,
Alcatel-Lucent Bell, DEME, Janssen-Cilag EMEA and Picanol Group took part in
these.

The 'FBS-Entrepreneurial Boot Camp' is the most well-known training
program. This intensive training spans eighteen weeks. The Entrepreneurial
Boot Camp teaches employees to track down opportunities for growth for their
businesses, to brainstorm these and turn them into business plans. These are
then submitted to a jury of FBS-professors, experts and VC's. Following this,
the business' management decides whether or not to turn these business
opportunities into an internal or external new venture/source of growth for
the firm.
