Four Co-favourites for Crucible Crown

SHEFFIELD, England, April 26, 2011 - Sponsors Betfred now have four co-favourites for the World Snooker
Championship after an entertaining day of quarter-final action at the
Crucible Theatre in Sheffield.

John Higgins and Ronnie O'Sullivan, who are locked at 4-4 in their match,
are among the quartet of 4/1 market leaders along with Mark Selby and Mark
Williams.

Selby trails 5-3 to Ding Junhui, while Williams is two frames away from a
place in the semi-finals as he leads 11-5 against Mark Allen.

Betfred spokesman Jon Wilde said: "The tournament could not be more open
with six of the eight remaining players covered by only one point in the
betting. There is lots of value for punters and it's shaping up towards being
a superb climax over the Bank Holiday weekend."

Higgins and O'Sullivan, both chasing a fourth World Championship, are
each available at 5/6 to reach the semi-finals.

Ding is 8/11 to reach the last four for the first time at the expense of
Selby, who is an Evens chance to make a third semi-final appearance in five
years.
