The new Kenaz NZ100 DGPS receiver offers sub-meter accuracy for handheld mapping and is specifically designed to work with the newly launched ultra-rugged Nautiz X7. Powered by Hemisphere GPS Crescent(R) receiver technology, the Kenaz offers quick position computation and superior accuracy required for precise positioning applications. It is small, compact and yet rugged enough for even the most demanding environments.

“Handheld is committed to bringing only the best products to the market,” said Jerker Hellstrom, CEO of the Handheld Group. “We are pleased to work with Hemisphere GPS, a leader in precision GPS, and to offer our customers an exceptionally rugged and robust DGPS solution in the Kenaz.”

The Kenaz DGPS receiver supports SBAS differential corrections and Hemisphere GPS exclusive e-Dif(R) extended differential option. If a differential signal is lost, Hemisphere GPS COAST(TM) technology maintains accuracy for up to 40 minutes. It is designed for low power consumption to conserve the handheld’s battery power. It boasts a maintenance-free smart antenna and attaches to keep the total solution IP67-rated. An optional external antenna is available for additional accuracy.

The Kenaz NZ100 joins Kenaz models designed for the popular TDS Nomad and TDS Recon.
