Oracle E-Business Suite Named a Leader in Contract Life-Cycle Management by Independent Research Firm

The Oracle E-Business Suite has been named a Leader in Forrester Research Inc.’s June 2011 report, “The Forrester Wave™: Contract Life-Cycle Management, Q2 2011 (www.oracle.com/us/corporate/analystreports/services/forrester-wave-lifecycle-q2-2011-432562.pdf) .” (1)

Forrester evaluated ten vendors against 113 criteria, categorized into three main groups: Current Offering, Strategy and Market Presence.

Based on Forrester’s assessment, Oracle Contracts (www.oracle.com/us/products/applications/ebusiness/scm/053996.html) , part of the Oracle E-Business Suite 12.1 (www.oracle.com/us/products/applications/index.html) , received strong marks for its product strategy and overall market presence with specific strengths identified in buy-side contract generation from sourcing events, web services support and globalization.

According to “The Forrester Wave™: Contract Life-Cycle Management, Q2 2011,” the Oracle E-Business Suite is “a strong product with excellent prospects.”

With regards to contract-lifecycle management (CLM), the report stated “Oracle offers a CLM solution closely integrated with its accounting, billing, and project costing tools on the [Oracle E-Business Suite] platform.”
