SYDNEY - Integrated Research today announced that PROGNOSIS VoIP Monitor Release 2, offering both new features and enhanced functionality, is now available to all Avaya IP telephony customers as both an upgrade for existing VoIP Monitor users and as a standalone download from VoiceQuality.com.

The key product enhancement available in Release 2 is the new entitlement license which provides monitoring of the first 250 phones for all Avaya customers, regardless of the total number of phones in their Avaya environment. Whole of environment licenses for up to 250 phones and 60-day trials for up to 1000 phones are still available for customers wanting to monitor multiple PBXs, IP trunks, and all PBX attached devices.

Other new features in PROGNOSIS VoIP Monitor R2 include support for alerts via SNMP traps and the availability of RTCP-only monitoring where no SAT connections are configured.

Pierre Semaan, General Manager, Product Management and Marketing for PROGNOSIS said, “Our goal with these changes is to make it easier for more organisations to access their entitlement and to lower their VoIP monitoring operating costs with PROGNOSIS VoIP Monitor.

With more than 500,000 phones now under management and our Avaya reseller channel expanding every week, this new release offers even more value to our customers and further cements the position of PROGNOSIS as the monitoring solution of choice in Avaya IP telephony environments.”

Avaya customers and technology resellers requiring more information about PROGNOSIS VoIP Monitor should visit VoiceQuality.com.
