LONDON, April 20, 2010 - Sage Pay joins Google, e-skills UK and BT to help small businesses get up
and running online.

Sage Pay, the UK's leading payment service provider has signed up as an
official partner of the Getting British Business Online scheme (GBBO). The
scheme is an initiative set up by Google, e-skills UK, BT and others to get
100,000 businesses trading online by the end of 2010. The scheme has already
made great progress with over 5,000 websites created since its launch.

Sage Pay is the most recent business to join the scheme and is offering 3
months free online processing to any business that signs up under the GBBO
initiative. As a supporter of start up businesses, Sage Pay will also be
running Start Up Clinics at this year's Internet World 2010 to help
businesses make the transition into the online space. With currently 1.5
million businesses without a website, Sage Pay wants to take the hassle out
of getting started to make things as simple as possible. Their inclusive
Merchant Services and processing package means they are able to support
start-ups all the way through the process. A recent report undertaken by Sage
Pay showed that almost 30% of businesses surveyed were looking to invest in
their online business in 2010, proving the growth of the ecommerce market.

"At Sage Pay we like to champion start up businesses. It's vital that
small businesses get the support and motivation they need to trade online
and an obvious part of that is enabling their customers to pay them in a
simple and secure and profitable way" says Sage Pay's Managing Director Simon
Black
.

Sage Pay's Start Up clinics will be held at this year's Internet World.
As well as helping new businesses, existing e-tailers will be able to get
their e-business benchmarked on issues such as Payment Card Industry
compliance, SEO searches and Fraud, following Sage Pay's recent industry
report.
