LONDON, May 25, 2010 - The UK based internet publishing website abook2read.com
(www.abook2read.com/) has launched its inaugural literary competition,
with cash prizes and publishing opportunities to be won.

The judging panel includes Sir Tim Rice, well known lyricist and author
who said:

"I discovered this eBook website (www.abook2read.com/) shortly
after its launch 18 months ago and I have down-loaded some fine books by
authors I would never have otherwise discovered. I was delighted to be asked
to be one of the judges for this competition and I am sure we will find more
talent."

The competition is open to anyone who has written a previously
unpublished or broadcast work of fiction between 40,000 and 180,000 words.
The closing date is 30th of September 2010 and the winners will be announced
on 15th of December 2010. The entry fee is just GBP8.

"Abook2read.com aims to uphold the high standards of a traditional
publishing house, but give a much better experience to any author showing
promise and a better share of the revenue," says Managing Director, Torquil
Riley-Smith
of Life of Riley Productions Ltd that drives the website.

Abook2read.com has been live since November 2008 and since then the site
has signed 68 authors and has over 100 books listed.
