KOPER, Slovenia, August 6, 2010 - A 23-year-old graduate student has created a novel web site
billionmindsunited.com (www.billionmindsunited.com/) to unite the
entire world into one global thought and create the first story in human
history that will be collectively written by billions of people.

Marco Secardi launched Billion Minds United (
www.billionmindsunited.com/) to connect people into one single unified
thought. People from all over the world can come to his site and contribute
one and only one vote for the next letter from the alphabet on his homepage.
After a predetermined number of votes, the letter that receives the most
votes will be written down on the homepage, and the voting for the next
letter will begin.

By writing letters in this way, the end product will represent a story
expressing the united thinking of all those who contributed their vote. It
would be like a giant book with millions of authors where the thoughts of all
living people are collected and expressed as a single entity.

"I think the idea of having a homepage with content that is written by
the entire world, where every letter was collectively chosen by thousands of
people before it was written down, is interesting enough to capture people's
imaginations," Marco continued, "and just imagine reading a homepage where
every person in this world is the co-author of only one single letter. What
will the content of such homepage be? If the whole world wrote a story, would
it be worth reading?"

The website is already attracting advertisers who like this unique place
as they can reach their target markets across the globe. Growing number of
visitors and authors on www.billionmindsunited.com increase its
advertising value and Marco claims he already made some money from
advertising. He says that people can use the advertising space on his
homepage to display an ad or logo and have a link to their own site. He
believes that the ads will offer good value because the homepage will be kept
online for at least 10 years.

"Last month the homepage received more than 500 unique visits just by
word-of-mouth. This month the homepage has already received more than 700.
People are coming because they're attracted by the novelty of the idea and
I'm expecting even more visitors due to the site's exposure to news and
media," Marco explained.

When asked what he intends to do with the money, Marco replied "First
I'll cover the expenses for the site and invest it into the marketing of my
idea so that even more people will give their vote on the homepage, then I'll
donate a portion of all the revenue to the world wide non-profit organization
Save the Children, and finally, if my idea really takes off, I'd like to
travel the world and invest my heart into ideas that will make the world a
better place."
