A survey reported today at the Alzheimer's Association
International Conference 2011 (AAIC 2011) in Paris by Alzheimer
Europe and administered by the Harvard School of Public Health
reveals that while people fear Alzheimer's second only to cancer,
the overwhelming majority would go to the doctor, or take a loved
one for evaluation, if they saw symptoms of memory loss and
confusion.

This week, more than 5,000 scientists from around the world
gathered in Paris to report the latest advances in Alzheimer's
research at the Alzheimer's Association International Conference
2011 (AAIC 2011).

Today French President Nicolas Sarkozy will address the
Alzheimer's Association International Conference 2011 (AAIC 2011),
the premier annual forum presenting the latest research from the
world's leading scientists in the Alzheimer's field.
HONOLULU, July 14, 2010 - This week, nearly 4,000 scientists from around the world gathered to
report and discuss the latest advances in research on treatments, risk
factors, and diagnosis for the health epidemic of the 21st century -
Alzheimer's disease - at the Alzheimer's Association's 2010 International
Conference on Alzheimer's Disease (AAICAD 2010) in Honolulu.
HONOLULU, July 13, 2010 - Scientists at the Alzheimer's Association International Conference on
Alzheimer's Disease 2010 (AAICAD 2010) today presented the first draft
reports from three workgroups convened by the National Institute on Aging
(NIA) and the Alzheimer's Association to update the diagnostic criteria for
Alzheimer's disease for the first time in 25 years.
