MADRID, May 11, 2011 - Madrid, the capital of Spain, has been chosen for the presentation of the
Spanish Biotech Platform, an initiative launched by the Spanish Bioindustry
Association (ASEBIO), in partnership with the Spanish Society of
Biotechnology (SEBIOT) and the Fundacion Genoma Espana (Spanish Genome
Foundation), which has received funding from the Ministry of Science and
Innovation's National R+D+I Plan 2008-2011.
MADRID, October 22, 2010 - The Spanish Bioindustry Association (ASEBIO) and the Navarre
Society of Development (Sodena), under the Government of Navarre, celebrated
BioSpain 2010 in Pamplona, from September 29th to October 1st where
attendance was over 1.400 participants.
PAMPLONA, Spain, October 1, 2010 - "It is increasingly difficult to receive financing and the
financial crisis is weakening investment in R&D+i," said Conny Bogentoft,
Chief Scientific Officer at Karolinska Development AB, during the third and
last plenary session of the 5th International Meeting on Biotechnology,
BioSpain 2010, organised by the Spanish Association of Biocompanies (ASEBIO)
and the Government of Navarre through SODENA.
