GENEVA, February 24, 2010 - Tobacco use encouraged by aggressive marketing and growing obesity linked
to poor diets and physical inactivity endanger millions of people in the
developing world, Princess Haya Al Hussein of Jordan said today at a
conference hosted by the World Health Organization (WHO).
NAIROBI, Kenya, January 9 - HRH Princess Haya Al Hussein traveled to Kenya yesterday in her role as a
UN Messenger of Peace to encourage an effective local and global response to
catastrophic food shortages.
ASWAN, Egypt, January 8 - HRH Princess Haya Al Hussein of Jordan yesterday called for more
investment in medical research in a keynote speech at a medical conference
hosted by the Aswan Heart Centre.
