Early results from a prospective Phase II trial presented today at the American Society of Radiation Oncology 53rd annual meeting show that patients with low-risk prostate cancer who were treated with radiosurgery using treatment technologies from Varian Medical Systems (NYSE: VAR) and Calypso Medical Systems had favorable health-related quality of life scores and minimal toxicities.
