Von Muehlenen again shows its consistency by winning 2 Gold awards, 1 Silver and 1 Highly commended award, and then going on to win 2 major awards for "Best Specialty Cheese" and "Best Single Specialty cheese - hard pressed, produced outside of the UK" for its Le Gruyre Premier Cru at the International Cheese Awards Nantwich, Cheshire on July 26/27th 2011; also it was with von Muehlenen's Gruyre for which Sainsbury's won the Interprofession du Gruyre Trophy for "Best Continental Specialty Cheese - Retail class".
BIRMINGHAM, England, November 25, 2010 - The 4 times World Champion Von Mhlenen, overall title winner of The
World's Best Cheese at the World Cheese Awards 2005, 2002, 1992 (including
overall 2nd in 2008), was awarded the overall 3rd place in 2010 for Le
Gruyre Premier Cru.

be awarded "Best Swiss Cheese" for "Le Gruyere Premier Cru" at the
International Cheese Awards Nantwich, Cheshire on July 27/28th 2010; this
follows on from last year's success as Supreme Champion "Best Continental
Cheese" and runner up for the overall main prize.
