TI Automotive named global fuel tank provider for several Mercedes-Benz model lines

AUBURN HILLS, Michigan, July 27, 2010 - TI Automotive, a leading automotive supplier of fluid storage, carrying
and delivery technology, has earned the largest single-source contract in the
company's history. The company has been named the global supplier of fuel
tank systems for several high-volume Mercedes-Benz model lines.

Through the agreement, TI Automotive will provide vehicles of these
Mercedes-Benz model lines with seven variants of plastic fuel tanks, fuel
filler pipes and fluid carrying lines from different locations geographically
close to the respective Mercedes-Benz production sites in Europe (Germany)
and on other continents.

System variants will include Partial Zero Emissions Vehicle (PZEV),
Low-Emissions Vehicle III (LEV III) and Economic Commission for Europe (ECE)
for gasoline, diesel, hybrid and flex-fuel applications.

"We have positioned TI Automotive to be the preferred global partner by
focusing on innovative technology, world-class quality, customer service and
strong financial principles," said Bill Kozyra, chairman, CEO and president
of TI Automotive. "This award, along with the more than two-dozen other
global and regional contracts we earned during the past 18 months, optimally
positions TI Automotive for future success and leadership in the fluid
systems market. This is a great opportunity for us to further develop our
position with Daimler AG as a long-term, reliable partner and provide its
vehicles with some of the most innovative fuel system technology available."

TI Automotive set the standard for plastic fuel tank technology and
emissions with its 2009 Automotive News PACE Award-winning Partial Zero
Emissions Vehicle (PZEV) plastic fuel tank. Its unique design and production
method incorporate all internal components into the tank prior to
construction, reducing fuel vapor permeation paths and significantly reducing
evaporative emissions.
