TrendChip Technologies Launches Next-Generation 11n ADSL2+ Turnkey Solution

HSINCHU, Taiwan, February 4 - TrendChip Technologies Corp., a leading supplier of xDSL CPE chipsets,
today announced the next generation ADSL2+ 11n gateway solution based on
TC3162U ADSL chip. This, together with TC2206, teleco-class 100M Fast
Ethernet switch, and teleco standards-compliant software, all on an
industry-leading double layer PCB, offers the best price-performance turnkey
solution.

The next generation solution, which is applicable for single-port and
four-port 1T1R/2T2R 11n ADSL2+ gateways, features WiFi function with real
802.11n performance via PCIe interface and supports a variety of peripherals
via USB2.0 Host interface to meet digital home applications.

As China plans to roll out three-network convergence in five years to
offer users a variety of services including voice, Internet access and IPTV,
Chinese operators are speeding up their broadband network infrastructure
development for delivering digital home services, especially on IPTV, which
