Varicent expected to enhance sales performance management functionality for multiple geographic business units

TORONTO, July 15, 2010 - Varicent Software Incorporated, the leading innovator in incentive
compensation (ICM) and sales performance management (SPM) solutions,
announced today that it will provide its innovative solutions to Alcon, the
world's largest eye-care company.

Alcon Japan recently chose Varicent after a thorough consideration of
other products on the market, and this first phase opened the doors to
broader-reaching discussions about opportunities to support Alcon's needs
worldwide. With thousands of salespeople, operating in 75 countries, Alcon
