- Experienced Power Project Finance Expert Joins Team in Europe

Mr. White brings nearly 20 years of experience in financing for the power industry throughout Europe, providing him with a comprehensive understanding of the industry drivers and regulatory environments that shape the evolving energy industry.

Mr. White joins Ventyx as a Vice President of the firm’s Advisory Services-EMEA division, responsible for advising European clients on developing energy projects, a position for which his past career has prepared him well. As the former head of European and Middle East power project finance at Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS), he managed a premier power project finance team including renewable energy projects, requiring knowledge of regulatory environments, tariff structures and government strategies. Projects financed by RBS under Mr. White’s leadership include Europe’s largest wind farm acquisition in Italy and Germany, as well as a range of wind and solar projects throughout Europe. In addition, as an independent consultant, he has also advised ESB International in relation to its growth plans in the UK.

Prior to his eight years at RBS, Mr. White served as the head of the Power, London Power & Infrastructure Group at ABN AMRO Bank N.V., London Branch, where he provided lending and advisory services to clients in the power sector. He has also served as an executive in project finance positions at a number of other banking institutions since 1977, including Commerzbank A.G., Union Bank of Switzerland and National Westminster Bank Plc.
