Voluntary Product Recall for Kinnerton Ben 10 Alien Hero Projector Torches

LONDON - Kinnerton Confectionery (Company) Ltd is issuing a precautionary recall of Ben 10 Alien Hero Projector Torches sold as part of a Ben 10 Easter Egg Pack between February and April 2009

Product details: Best Before Date of March 2010 and Bar Code 501077517448

The issue relates to a fault in some of the novelty torches only. The chocolate Easter egg remains perfectly safe to eat and no other Ben 10 or Kinnerton products are affected. Kinnerton is taking this precautionary step on a voluntary basis due to a small number of cases where the torch has become unusually overheated causing the plastic handle to melt at the bottom of the torch.

Although the risk to health is extremely low, consumer safety and satisfaction are of utmost importance to Kinnerton and as such have decided to notify customers and issue a product recall.

Any consumers who have purchased this product are advised to stop using the torch immediately.
