Weekly Reports: Design Not Great Priority for Laptop Users According to dooyoo.co.uk

The dependable big-memory Samsung RV5111 one of the comparison site’s most - and best - reviewed portable computer products for the last week of September 2011

The users and reviewers of comparison site dooyoo.co.uk have given a big thumbs up to one of Samsung’s biggest 2011 laptops released on the market, and indicated that laptop users are favouring substance over style in their consumer choices this autumn.

The European reviews and price comparison website, which strives to provide user-generated content and opinions on a range of products from digital cameras and laptops to home appliances and gadgets, has released the figures for this month’s highest rated technology products.

The Samsung RV 511 was the most reviewed product - a Core i3 desktop laptop with 6GB of RAM. And with an average rating of 4.5 stars, it is also one of the most popular laptops to view on dooyoo.co.uk thanks to its huge community of consumers and opinions.

Users said it boasted ‘great price great performance…it’s everything I wanted’; another user added that it was a great price and great laptop - but that those willing to pay a little extra could get themselves a bigger model.

Nevertheless, the RV511 has been the month’s big success story. Whilst the Samsung R730, released a week after the RV511 in late February, topped the highest ratings overall, with 5 stars and a glowing summary, it only scored one review. Still, these two successes mark a great month for Samsung in the dooyoo.co.uk forums.
