CERAWeek, HOUSTON – Mar. 8, 2011

News Facts

Demonstrating its commitment to provide valuable and flexible industry-specific integrations for business success, Oracle has joined Energistics, a global, not-for-profit consortium designed to unite oil and gas industry thought leaders and to explore ways to facilitate exploration and production (E&P) information sharing and business process integration.

Oracle’s applications, technology and hardware systems deliver an open, standards-based approach for upstream oil and gas companies to integrate cross-application business processes, leveraging a broad range of custom, Oracle or third-party E&P applications. Oracle also provides a jump start to integration projects, reducing risks and helping to lower integration costs.
Jeff Henley, Oracle Chairman of the Board, will deliver a keynote address to the oil and gas industry on March 11 at 9:00 a.m. CST at CERAWeek in Houston, Texas. Daniel Yergin, Chairman of IHS Cambridge Energy Research Associates (CERA) (ihscera.com/aspx/cda/public1/home/home.aspx) , will moderate the discussion.
