LUCKNOW, India, January 6, 2011 - Welspun Energy Ltd., part of the diversified Welspun Group, one of the fastest growing conglomerates in India, today signed a MoU and power purchase agreement (PPA) with the Government of Uttar Pradesh (UP) to set up a 1320 MW thermal power plant in Ghazipur district.
