Brightside Group plc Named PwC 2011 West of England Business of the Year

BRISTOL, England, June 27, 2011 -
Brightside Group plc is celebrating
after being named as PwC’s 2011 West of England Business of the
Year at a prestigious gala dinner.
The award has been organised by PwC for the past 22 years to
recognise the outstanding success of companies in the West Country
- both in the UK and internationally.
Brightside Group, which is headquartered in Bristol, is one of
the fastest growing insurance broking and financial services
business in the UK. 85 per cent of the company’s headcount is based
in the region and all call centres are UK-based.
The judges of the award cited a number of reasons for Brightside
Group being named as business of the year, most notably: the
substantial continual growth of the company over the past ten
years; the breadth and depth of its management team; and the fun
and unique atmosphere amongst employees which was evident to the
judges during a tour of a call-centre.
