- 60 New Jobs to be Created

David Lloyd Leisure, the health, fitness and leisure group of clubs, has
announced it will open a new, 6,000-plus sqm facility in Farnham - creating
about 60 jobs.

The new GBP12m club - which is due to open in December - will be located
next to Farnham Rugby Club in Wrecclesham. It will feature the largest spa of
any David Lloyd Leisure club, a plethora of sporting and fitness
(www.davidlloyd.co.uk/) facilities, and a DL Kids dedicated area for
children and families.

The 1,013sqm Amida Spa (www.amidaspa.co.uk/) will comprise six
treatment rooms, offering massages, facials and alternative therapies using
the latest products and techniques. It will also house four sauna rooms, a
relaxation area, experience rooms, a spray tanning room and nail studio, as
well as outdoor sauna cabins and a spa pool.

With eight outdoor tennis courts (
www.davidlloyd.co.uk/home/activities/racquets), the Farnham club will
provide some of the best tennis facilities in the region. The Tennis All
Stars programme, accredited by the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA), will be
available to children aged 3-11, while adults at all levels will be offered
instruction by a dedicated team of LTA-qualified coaches.

The multi-purpose sports hall, housing three badminton courts, will
enhance the racquets offering along with two squash courts. An onsite
physiotherapist and osteopathy clinic will add to the comprehensive
facilities and services, ensuring that every sporting need is met.

Furthermore, the complex will boast a 25m indoor swimming pool and
separate children's pool. DLL's Swim All Stars quality swimming programme -
endorsed by the Amateur Swimming Association (ASA) and undertaken by
ASA-qualified coaches - will be available for all abilities, from absolute
beginners to rising stars.

Children and families will be catered for with the new 470sqm DL Kids
facility onsite, featuring family lounge areas in which to relax, and a wide
range of activity and holiday programmes on offer.

Another key attraction will be the 1,337sqm gymnasium, providing the
latest fitness products such as assisted resistance and cardiovascular
equipment, free weights and Power Plates. There will be two exercise studios,
hosting a variety of classes, and a specially designated room for the popular
class, spinning.

Members and families will be able to relax and socialise in a DL Cafébar,
offering an enticing menu of delicious, healthy and nutritionally-balanced
meals for those who have worked up an appetite.

Farnham is the latest new club opening for Europe's premier racquets,
health and fitness group as part of an expansion plan.

Newly-appointed General Manager Linden Henson, who previously managed DLL
Chigwell in Essex, will now begin recruiting the rest of his team.

Linden says: "I am delighted to be leading the David Lloyd Leisure team
in Farnham. This club will offer the area some fantastic leisure facilities
and we're very excited about becoming part of the local community. I am also
very pleased that our club opening will create about 60 jobs.

"Our Amida Spa, the largest of any DLL club in the country, will be
simply stunning - a haven of relaxation, offering the latest products and
techniques, to make each member's visit a truly memorable experience."
