ALZENAU, Germany - NUKEM GmbH, Alzenau, has signed a contract to sell its subsidiary company NUKEM Technologies GmbH to the Russian Atomstroyexport.

ALZENAU, Germany and CHERNOBYL , Ukraine - On 24 April 2009, NUKEM Technologies GmbH, based in Alzenau (Germany), handed over a turnkey waste treatment centre for solid radioactive waste (ICSRM = Industrial Complex for Radwaste Management) to its customer, the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant.
