Standard Chartered, the Asia-focussed bank, reported a rise in half-year profits of 17% and said that it was investing money in hiring new staff to continue to drive growth.
LONDON, March 2, 2011 - Standard Chartered, the Asia-focused bank, today revealed full-year
profits up 19% and income up to over $16 billion.
LONDON, August 4, 2010 - Standard Chartered today released half year results for the six months
ended 30 June 2010 saying it had put in a strong performance and that both
its businesses had made an encouraging start to the second half.
