BRISTOL, England, November 3, 2011 -
UK-GDS International, a global business to business event company, has announced the launch of a new platform to provide accelerated networking for busy executives from Global Fortune 500 companies.
GDS summits, which bring together some of the world’s biggest and brightest executives, has introduced Collabor8, their newest venture in aiding benchmarking across various industries. Oliver Smart, CEO of GDS International, says, “It was clear from our clients that a key challenge was finding time to discuss best practice ideas with peers and identify potential for growth.”
So what do they think about the hottest topics currently defining their industry? The news stories and headline challenges forcing change?
More importantly, which issue will have the biggest impact, and what are their best practice ways of dealing with it?
Welcome to Collabor8: eight working groups, eight industry hot topics, one accelerated learning and incredible networking opportunity.
How it works:
A GDS Advisory Board - a hand-picked collection of movers and shakers select eight topics they feel are most important for their industry right now, and name eight champions to lead the Collabor8 Working Groups.
GDS sets up eight working areas at every Summit (www.gdsinternational.com) and attendees are asked to select the topic they feel most passionate about: the biggest impact, the strongest solutions.
The delegation divide into eight working groups to define why their topic will drive the most change - and their three best practice recommendations for dealing with that change.
The best Collabor8 group then facilitate discussion amongst the working groups and present the outcomes in five minutes or less to the Summit delegation.
