Barclays Corporate Launches Campaign to Increase Understanding of Financial Services

LONDON, July 29, 2010 - Barclays Corporate has launched a new campaign to generate a deeper
understanding of the financial products and services available for the UK's
mid to large corporates, thereby improving access to a wide range of funding
options for UK businesses.
The 'Putting the financial world IN PERSPECTIVE' campaign combines
face-to-face and virtual events, an email newsletter and an interactive
website (www.barclayscorporate.com/inperspective/) offering expert
articles, targeted videos and market data, and covers a broad range of themes
from global trade issues to specific finance solutions.
In Perspective builds on the success of last year's award-winning*
Turning the Corner programme, which was designed to support clients through
the recession with practical financing guides and expert opinion from a broad
spectrum of business disciplines. With the launch of the Barclays Corporate
brand earlier this year, In Perspective builds on the advisory side of last
year's initiative, but refocuses on mid to large corporates and the more
sophisticated funding products these companies require.
