Compliant Phones Appoints Pim Dale to Exploit Mobile Recording Market Growth

LONDON, June 8, 2011 -
- New Chairman to Expand Business for Patented Inline Mobile Recording
(TM) Technology
Compliant Phones, the UK-based, independent mobile voice and data
recording company, has today announced the appointment of Pim Dale as its new
chairman. Pim's primary objective is to accelerate Compliant Phones growth
within the evolving mobile phone recording market and capitalise on upcoming
FSA regulations.
Pim has a legacy of creating and building high-growth businesses, most
recently at Dell where he was responsible for growing revenues from $100
million to $3 billion per annum in emerging markets within Europe, Middle
East and Africa. Prior to joining Dell, Pim held senior roles at Sun
Microsystems and began his career at Hewlett Packard.
Pim Dale said: "Explosive growth in the use of smartphones, coupled with
the drive from regulators and business to rebuild consumer trust, has ignited
demand for mobile recording-as well as management and analysis of the derived
data. Compliant Phones is primed to capitalise on this. I want to ensure we
fully develop the opportunity and position Compliant Phones as the number-one
choice for mobile and data recording solutions, globally."
Compliant Phones is in a strong financial position, after recently
securing a multi-million pound funding round led by Oxford Capital Partners
(OCP). Pim added: "This investment injection puts Compliant Phones on a solid
financial footing. The team in place has the expertise and motivation to
scale. We're seeing demand from the Americas, Asia Pacific as well as Europe,
across sectors as diverse as banking, healthcare, logistics and government.
I'm looking forward to helping the team build a vibrant international
business."
Initially the company is set to take advantage of the impending Financial
Services Authority (FSA) Taping of Mobile Phones regulation. From November
2011, it will be mandatory for UK financial services organisations to record
mobile calls and text messages, involving the giving of advice and taking of
orders, no matter where the call is placed or received-in the home network or
roaming around the world.
Compliant Phones' second-generation Inline Mobile Recording technology
has been specially developed to work across any network, worldwide,
overcoming the limitations of network-only based solutions for global
customers. It also eliminates the need to change phone numbers or air-time
provider. Patent-protected technology gives the user fast and transparent
operation for the best possible experience, setting the company apart from
its competition-an advantage Pim is keen to develop.
Commenting on Pim's appointment, Curtis Nash, Compliant Phones' CEO,
commented: "Pim has an exceptional track record in building successful global
companies. Compliant Phones has spent five years developing robust recording
technologies-I'm confident that with Pim's leadership we can establish a
market-leading position."
