Drum Cussac Awarded Accreditation for Implementing International Management Standards
By Drum Cussac, PRNEMonday, March 14, 2011
LONDON, March 15, 2011 - Drum Cussac, the international business risk consultancy, has been
recognised for its focus and success in establishing international
environmental and occupational health and safety management standards within
the company's operations.
The recognition has come in the form of OHSAS (Occupational Health &
Safety Standards) 18001 and ISO 14001 accreditations. OHSAS 18001 is a Health
and Safety management system that represents best practices for health and
safety in the workplace. ISO 14001 is an international environmental standard
for creating policies, plans and actions that help identify related problems
before they happen. The two are strongly related and compatible in order to
facilitate the integration of the two disciplines into a cohesive and
comprehensive management system.
Jeremy Stampa Orwin, Drum Cussac Managing Director, said: "We are proud
to achieve these accreditations, which are a reflection of our company's
overall commitment to ensuring a high level of quality and integrity
throughout our business. The accreditation process gives us a structured,
standardised and internationally recognised methodology for continually
analysing and improving our operations through best management practices."
The accreditations come on the heels of Drum Cussac being recognised with
ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System accreditation last year.
