Leading online payment gateway cashU launches a new service

Starting from now cashU (www.cashu.com) users can use their mobile phones to login to their accounts, check the account balance, see their latest transactions, add funds, and make online payments simply by visiting m.cashu.com
This is the first mobile payment service launched by an independent payment provider in the region.
Commenting on the news Martin Waldenstrom, CEO of cashU, said: “we are delighted to announce the launch of this valuable new service which came as a result of our desire and commitment to meet the evolving needs of our expanding base of users, which last month alone saw 12,000 new registered accounts.
“We will continue to develop features adapted for mobile phones which we believe will play a major role in the region because of their greater reach than the PC.”
CashU announced a 100% sales volume growth for the year 2009 compared to the year 2008, driven by “cashU’s trusted name in the field of online payments, and its availability in all Arabic speaking countries in the Middle East and North Africa,” said cashu’s CEO.
