Livewire Digital Ltd is pleased to announce new customers in Malaysia and Thailand via their distribution partner in Singapore; Duet Broadcast, including Al-Hijrah and Voice TV.
Norway’s leading broadcaster, NRK, have expanded their existing M-Link infrastructure following a competitive tender for their regional TV operations.
An increasing demand for HD news broadcasting has seen several customers upgrading existing M-Link systems to HD, including international news agencies, government agencies and terrestrial broadcasters.
Livewire Digital’s market leading electronic newsgathering products include M-Link Newscaster and M-Link Live X, which allow news crews to deliver news media directly from the field to the newsroom using a file based or live video workflow. The recently added M-Link Bridge service enables live video without the need for customers to host their own receive server, video can be bridged via Livewire’s hosted server to a corporate video conferencing unit.
M-Link software forms an integral part of the bespoke media systems developed, by Livewire, for the Volvo Ocean Race. M-Link Live X and the Bridge service enabled the Groupama sailing team to go live on French TV during the recent Rolex Fastnet Race with captain Franck Cammas giving onboard interviews live on air to BFM TV.
Richard Aylmer-Hall, Business Development and Product Development Manager said, “New customer sales and our existing customer base upgrading their systems to HD and increasing their M-Link uptake is great news. It demonstrates our commitment to continued product evolution coupled with excellent support services.”
