CMA Education and Planet EDU signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) at the University of Greenwich - Centre for Indian Business aimed at fostering greater co-operation between CMA Education part of the CMA Group of Companies, an organization headquartered in London, that covers the spectrum of marketing disciplines and specialties, from public relations and consumer advertising, to mobile and search engine marketing, and Planet EDU a well known learning facilitation company based in New Delhi which creates world-class customised and cost-effective learning solutions backed by value-added services for the education sector.

The MOU was signed by Mr. David Guest, Chief Operating Officer of CMA Education and Mr. Sanjay Malaviya Chief Executive Officer of Planet EDU in the presence of Mr. Tim Gore OBE,
Director - Centre for Indian Business at a ceremony on Friday 11th September 2009 held at University of Greenwich’s Old Royal Naval College Campus. The campus’s status as part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site, designed by Sir Christopher Wren at the end of the 17th century and majestically sited
on the River Thames in London reflects its prestige as an international center of learning.

By signing the MOU at the University of Greenwich both CMA Education and Planet EDU wanted to recognise the efforts made by the Centre for Indian Business in helping to facilitate and formalise the relationship between the signatory companies. It is envisaged that this MOU will serve as a fore-runner to further agreements between CMA Education and Planet EDU which will encompass a broad range of international business activities particularly in the marketing and provision of transnational education
and consultancy opportunities as well as international commercialisation of value-added services for the education sector.

“The memorandum of understanding is a genuine opportunity to identify common areas of commercialinterest between CMA Education and Planet EDU,” said Mr. Bari Malik, Chief Executive Officer of CMA Group. “The signing of the MOU facilitated by the Centre for Indian Business at the University of
Greenwich will enable us to forge an enduring strategic partnership with Planet EDU to meet the challenges of the future.“
