Novatel Wireless Adds Expedite(R) E373 Embedded Module to Its LTE Portfolio

Optimized to support wireless connectivity with European Carriers for tablets, notebooks, netbooks and other portable entertainment devices, Novatel Wireless is announcing readiness of its LTE Embedded Module, the Expedite E373 Advanced PCle Mini Card.

BARCELONA, Spain, February 14, 2011 - Mobile World Congress — Novatel Wireless, Inc., (Nasdaq: NVTL) a leading
provider of wireless broadband solutions, today introduces the Expedite(R)
E373 embedded module, extending its innovative embedded mobile broadband
portfolio for LTE connectivity worldwide.

variety of devices and platforms with six OEM partners, including Cisco,
Consert, Dell, HP, SerComm and TouchTunes, at Verizon Wireless' booth.

Building on the proven performance of the Expedite product line, Novatel
Wireless' LTE embedded modules are optimized for power efficiency, thermal

target devices by providing enhanced GPS capabilities, allowing users to

Additional key features include Novatel Wireless' superior Connection Manager
- Mobilink 3 - supporting Windows 7, Vista and XP. A rich set of APIs is also
available to developers through the software development kit. The solution is
powered by Qualcomm's MDM9200(TM) multi-mode 3G/LTE chipsets and provides
support for LTE with theoretical download speeds of up to 100 Mbps and with
backward compatibility to dual carrier HSPA+, UMTS, EDGE and GPRS.
