The Investor Relations Society Appoints New Board Members

LONDON - The Board of The Investor Relations Society is delighted to announce the appointment of two new Board members with immediate effect as follows:

Emma Burdett - Head of Investor Relations, Maitland

Lisa Williams - Head of Investor Relations, Debenhams plc

Commenting on the new appointments, Peregrine Riviere, Chairman of the Investor Relations Society said:

“I am delighted to welcome Emma and Lisa as Board members. Both are already actively involved with the Society through their membership of the Policy and Membership committees respectively.”

In line with the Society’s Articles of Association, these appointments to the Board will be put to vote by the full membership at the Annual General Meeting in June 2009.
