SAN FRANCISCO - Second Gathering of Top Chinese and International Developers Will Return to Shanghai in October with Strong Government Endorsement
The call for submissions to present lectures, tutorials, and panels at the 2009 Game Developers Conference(R) China (GDC China) is open now through May 22, 2009. The 2nd conference dedicated to the art, science and business of games - presented by Think Services, a Division of United Business Media - returns to the Shanghai Convention Center October 11-13. Session proposals can be submitted via the official GDC China website at www.China.GDConf.com.
Backed by the Ministry of Culture of the P. R. China (MOC), GDC China will bring new insight to the expansive Chinese game development industry - uniting the current generation of Chinese developers to share their ideas with local professionals and global pundits. GDC China will hold conference tracks on Global Game Development, Online Games, Visual Arts, Audio, Mobile, and Independent Games.
“The success of our event in 2007 demonstrated the enthusiasm and need for developers in China to further their learning in a conference style setting and gain insight into how their work plays an integral role in the games industry worldwide,” said Meggan Scavio, event director. “Based on our experience from our first event, GDC China 2009 will serve the community even better with more specialized content garnered with the help of the Asian development community, our advisory board, and the experience and knowledge of the GDC.”
For more information on submitting a talk to this year’s GDC China please visit www.China.GDConf.com.
