WARSTEIN-BELECKE and HANNOVER, Germany, March 1, 2011 - CeBIT 2011 (hall 12/booth B66) - AEG Power Solutions (AEG PS),
global provider of premium power electronics, underlines the ambition to
create pathbreaking solutions and benefits for both, users and resellers. At
digital industry's biggest event AEG PS showcases a completely modernized
lineup of high-efficiency UPS for Home, Office and Data Center with extended
36-months warranty for batteries. Furthermore, AEG PS pushes forward
technological features as SNMP encryption, virtualization, remote control and
the intelligent distribution of autonomy time capacities.

New range of IT UPS series

The new lineup includes the PROTECT B. Pro for small offices
and network components (server, clients, fax, printer), the rackmount PROTECT
D. to manage complex security concepts in bigger networks and the highly
scalable PROTECT 3.M to provide - with a max. of 480 kVA - safety for bigger
networks up to data centers.

Solutions for retail and channel

The P3 Power Partner Program, implemented at the end of 2010,
underscores AEG PS's staunch channel commitment. Lead sharing, project
support on-site and bonus incentives have already brought much positive
feedback. Adrian Hanslik, Channel Sales Manager DACH, AEG Power Solutions:
"This year we are going to pull out all the stops: with surge protection and
UPS devices for smaller networks, SoHo servers, media centers and desktops we
will gain further ground in retail. To distributors, value-added resellers
and computer retailers we offer UPS solutions for profitable projects and
services. In so doing, we are positive to strengthen our position in the
channel."

High-Tech -German technology

At CeBIT 2011 Green IT, cost- and energy efficiency still play
a major role. On the one hand it is about optimizing proven technologies and
setting high efficiency benchmarks e.g. with a 0.9lag power factor. On the
other hand AEG PS continues to develop alternative energy concepts, e.g.
supercapacitors and fuel cells, in order to be the first to offer
well-engineered innovations.

Pure energy for high-priced multimedia devices

Other important topics at CeBIT 2011 are multimedia and home
networks. For web-enabled TV sets, home servers and projectors the protection
against blackouts, in particular against over- and undervoltage, plays a
major role. UPS solutions by AEG PS, e.g. PROTECT A. and PROTECT B., cater
for a reliable filtering of dangerous voltage phenomena such as surges or
voltage harmonics. Pure and high-quality energy guarantees the function of
the home network and extends the lifetime of rather expensive home
entertainment systems.

We invite you to experience our new lineup
