CAMO Software Lays Foundation for Further Growth With Appointment of New CEO

OSLO, Norway, March 21, 2011 - CAMO Software AS today announced the appointment of Mr. Paal Braathen as
chief executive officer (CEO), effective immediately.

Founded in 1984, CAMO Software is a pioneer and acknowledged leader in
the growing field of multivariate data analysis (MVA) and design of
experiments (DoE) software. The company has recently re-structured and
strengthened the management group with senior appointments in sales,
marketing and business development across its global operations.
Mr. Braathen has more than twenty years of senior management experience
from both publicly listed and privately held technology companies. He has a
long and successful track record in international sales, marketing and
business development, combined with hands-on experience working with
multicultural teams and clients.
Mr. Braathen's appointment will help CAMO Software achieve their
ambitious growth targets and capitalize on the rapidly growing use of
multivariate analysis methods. He will lead the company's focus on industrial
sales, delivering solutions to their existing blue-chip client base and new
clients, in addition to strengthening the company's strategic partnerships.

Mr. Braathen has previously worked in the renewable and environmental

management consulting sectors. He has a B.Sc (econ) in addition to an
International Management Degree from the Norwegian School of Management (BI)
and the School of Marketing (NMH).
