Cashback Powerhouse Nominated for Innovation Awards 2009

LONDON, December 8 - The UK's biggest operator of customer loyalty and cashback websites has
been nominated for a prestigious award recognising its innovative affiliate
marketing strategy.
V A C Media (www.vacmedia.co.uk/) is shortlisted for the
Innovation In Affiliate Marketing category at the Econsultancy Innovation
Awards.
With the shortlist including the likes of eBay, V A C Media is delighted
to be recognised as a finalist.
Nadeem Azam, marketing manager said: "The Innovation Awards are very
competitive with more than 400 entries, and so to be considered among the
final four in our category is fantastic."
The judges will deliberate over the 22 categories and announce the
winners later this week.
This is the third major award final in 2009 for V A C Media, who operate
White Label loyalty portals through www.cashbackpartners.com and its
own loyalty programme through www.froggybank.co.uk
The cashback company has already won the AOP award for Best Commercial
Partnership.
It was also a finalist in the Best Retail Affiliate category of the
Affiliates4U Awards.
V A C Media is the biggest operator of customer loyalty websites in the
UK with a total network of 180 websites supported by 62 staff.
Readers log in to the cashback site before visiting any of 2,000
mainstream retailers and buying the same goods and services they normally
buy, from the same websites
But they get a percentage of their purchase returned as a cashback.
More than 550,000 shoppers use the network every year to purchase items
from 2,000 retailers. This makes it a huge source of online purchasing
information.
