Oracle users honour Excel4apps for originality and quality of advanced reporting software
STAFFORD, England, November 17 - Excel4apps, a provider of best-in-class Excel based reporting and
budgeting software for Oracle users, has announced that it received the
Silver Award for Innovative Partner of the Year from the UK Oracle User Group
(UKOUG). The awards were chosen by Oracle users to reward organisations that
have given the best service and contribution to customer members over the
past 12 months. As recipient of the Silver Award for Innovation, Excel4apps
was recognised as a Partner who delivers innovative consulting or products
relating to Oracle.
"We are extremely proud to receive this prestigious honour, as we have
invested a great deal in innovation and will continue to do so," said Michele
Buson, Director and Co-Founder of Excel4apps. "Not only is this award an
acknowledgement of customer confidence, it is also a testament to the strong
Excel4apps team and its ability to develop niche products at a price that
delivers enormous value to our customers, such as with the upcoming expansion
of our GL Wand reporting product suite."
The 2009 UKOUG Partner of the Year Awards took place on Thursday, 1st
October, at the Landmark hotel in London. Carol Thatcher, daughter of former
Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, was in attendance as Guest Speaker at the
black tie event, where Gold, Silver and Bronze Awards were presented in 20
categories. Award winners will also be recognised and promoted at UKOUG
Conference Series events in coming months.
For the Innovation category, UKOUG instructed customers to vote on the
uniqueness, originality and quality of the product or project under
consideration. They were also asked to assess the proven ability of the
Partner to deliver the promised solution within agreed cost and time
constraints.
"Receiving this award under such careful scrutiny from our valued
customers helps further establish Excel4apps as the leading provider of Excel
based accounting intelligence solutions to the Oracle community," said Dean
Jones, Director UK and Europe, for Excel4apps. "I would personally like to
thank our customers for their loyalty and continued support as we look
forward to continuing our partnership with the UKOUG."
